This area is known as the Agat Commercial Point Center and is located at the entrance of the village across Inn on the Bay. This area houses restaurants and businesses for the southern community.
Although the village has experienced an increase in the volume of commercial enterprises, Agat is still very much a residential neighborhood full of culture. Agat is home to what is called the “old heart of the village”. This is referring to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, convent and school. You will also find a police station, a very active community center, a community library, a senior citizens center, and multiple educational institutions for children of different ages.
